Maude L. Laycook was born August 1890, in Arkansas, the daughter of John Alvy Laycook and Sarah Ann Priscilla "Ciller" McClure.
Maude married Met Ross. They had three children. Met died prior to 1930.
The 1930 Conway County census, Higgins Township, Ada Valley Road, shows Maude, 40, widowed, married at 17, living with her mother and siblings. Two children, Bartlett, 12; and Millard, 10, are listed with her on the census.
Maude later married Dave Birdwell. Maude died in Conway County.
