Nathaniel Isaac Horton was born February 22, 1862, at Wiley's Cove, in Searcy County, Arkansas, the son of Nathaniel Horton and Martha Jane Shipman.
Nathaniel married Elizabeth Cordelia "Betty" Horton on May 28, 1891, in Searcy Co. Betty Horton was born January 20, 1876, in Searcy County, the daughter of William Winthrop Thomas Horton and Tennessee A. Parks.
Nathaniel died June 6, 1939, in Searcy County. Betty died April 17, 1952, in Searcy County.
