Nancy Jane Morrow

Nancy Jane Morrow was born December 16, 1837, in Wayne County, Tennessee, the daughter of John Morrow and Elizabeth Worthen Cypert.

Nancy married James A. Casteel on January 14, 1858, in Wayne County. James Casteel was born in 1834, in Wayne County.

James served in the Union Army in the Civil War.

Nancy then married James Perrin Wright on May 2, 1869, in Wayne County. James Wright was born December 5, 1850, in Tennessee, the son of William Bunyun Wright and Mary Ann Martin.

The 1870 Wayne County census, 8th Civil District, shows James P. Wright, 19, a farmer with $500 personal property; Nancy J., 32; Florida I., 10; James A., 9; and John W., 2 months old (born April).

The 1880 Wayne County census, 8th Civil District, shows James P. Wright, 30, a farmer; Nancy J., 42; John W., 10; Jesse B., 8; Burges C., 5; Camiller J., 3; Florida I. Casteel, step-daughter, 20; and James A. Casteel, step-son, 19.

James Wright died December 19, 1941, in Wayne County. He is buried in Cromwell Crossroads Cemetery in Wayne County.
