William Crow was born about 1758, in Orange County, North Carolina, the son of James Crow and Grace Denson.
William married and had children. He appears on the 1790 Hillsborough District, Chatham County, North Carolina. With him is his wife and one male under the age of 10 years. He is living near his brothers, Stephen and Isaac, and his father, James.
William is named in his father's will, which was signed in 1792, to receive 10 shillings and a share of the money derived from the sale of part of the estate.
