David Wilson "Wilse" Horton was born June 1863, in Wayne Co, Tennessee, the son of Nathaniel H. "Than" Horton and Margaret "Peggy" Berry.
Wilse married Callie Hailey on February 17, 1898, in Wayne County.
Wilse was a Baptist preacher. He and Callie had no children of their own, but they raised his sister Sarah Horton Estes' three small children.
Wilse died in 1931. He and Callie are both buried in Mimosa Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.
