(I have not researched the Keith family, but am sharing the information I have regarding this family.)
John Keith was born April 1845, in Tennessee, according to the 1900 census.
John married Sarah Harwood according to oral family history. Sarah Harwood was born December 1848, in North Carolina, according to the 1900 census.
John and Sarah appear on the 1900 Conway County, Arkansas census, in Lick Mountain Township. The census shows John Keith, 55, born April 1845, in Tennessee, father and mother born in Tennessee, married 22 years, a farmer; Sarah, wife, 51, born December 1848, in North Carolina, father and mother born in Arkansas, married 22 years, had given birth to 9 children, 7 children still living; Lee, son, 17, born February 1883, in Arkansas; Laura, daughter, 15, born May 1885, in Arkansas; and Washington, son, 9, born September 1890, in Arkansas.
Houston Keith, son of John Lee Keith, said that his grandfather was buried in the Grandview Cemetery. We believe he meant his Grandfather Keith, as it is reported that his Grandmother Flowers is buried in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Center Ridge and we believe his Grandfather Flowers is buried there, also.
