Robert Laverne Wren was born June 28, 1924, at Muscatine, in Muscatine County, Iowa, the son of John Cleveland Wren and Ida Florence Paceley.
Robert served in the U. S. Navy, Air Force and Army and served in WWII.
Robert married Elizabeth Annie "Betty" Bush in 1946, at Muscatine. Elizabeth Annie Bush was born January 5, 1927, at Wayland, in Henry County, Iowa, the daughter of Earl Louis Bush and Mary Myrtle Abel.
Robert and Betty divorced and Betty moved her children to Arkansas. Betty married Willie Ervin Felkins on June 2, 1956, in Mississippi. He was a state trooper for a number of years. Willie Felkins died September 19, 1963, at Morrilton, Conway County, Arkansas. Betty and Willie had no children.
Robert married Mrs. Hazel Logel in 1962, in Missouri. They lived in Muscatine after their marriage. Robert was employed for a number of years at the Alcoa plant at Muscatine. Hazel had children from prior marriages. Robert and Hazel had no children.
Robert died June 5, 1984, at Muscatine and is buried in Greenwood Cemetery. Hazel died in 1985.
Betty worked as a nurse for many years. She died January 10, 2001, in Conway County, Arkansas. She is buried in Friendship Cemetery near Solgohachia, in Conway County.
